It's worse than that IMO, they either don't vote on things or they will vote against anything that they deem to present more powers to Europe. Unbelievably they voted against legislation that would clamp down on people trafficking.

A party that is supposed to be against immigration and says they are concerned about illegal immigration, and yet they will vote against measures aimed at clamping down on one of the worst forms of exploitation and one that results in immigration.

UKIP European Union MP represent the views of people living in Britain..........they cant tell the Euro-crats that they are wasting £££ BILLIONS of tax payers money on items such as paying rich farmers compensation to grow absolutely nothing - if they are not actually able to attend the European Parliament.
So UKIP are caught between a hard place and a rock........they disagree about compensation payments to farmers but fight for a bigger slice of the EU budget for British farmers.

Remember half of the EU budget (tax payers money) goes to landowners many of them are wealthy.........for example Prince Charles gets £1 million per year from the EU........that one fact alone should make ordinary working people sit up and think

Another important point is this - you only have to stand at any burger bar somewhere in the country (which I do) and you will hear ordinary working people complaining because their wages are low because the eastern Europeans will do the work for less money...........that is to say that the EU is pushing ordinary workers wages down.
In my opinion that is not fair on people that were born and bred in this country

How can Eastern European workers work for less money? Surely it's illegal to pay them less than minimum wage???

It's amazing how many farms have Vote UKIP signs on them when they get so much funding from the place they want out of. How many cheap migrant workers do they also stand to lose if we stop em coming in ?

What really rattles me is the fact that they lay the blame for lower wages at the eastern Europeans doors when in reality it's greedy employers paying them less than the going rate then using it as an excuse to lower everybody elses wages on the back of it.

Over 60% of the people in this country couldn't be bothered to vote that's the real story of the 2014 elections.

Apart from the fact that there's little to no actual evidence to support that this has happened - even without migration levels as they have been do you really think wages would be substantially higher - in industries where employees have little to no bargaining power? How would this have happened? I somehow doubt that there would have been any incentive for employers to increase wages. Although maybe I'm misremembering, and before 2004 and more EU migration low pay wasn't an issue and we were living in some kind of high pay utopia - feel free to correct me if so.

BaQUOTEplace.g Nudger;1516673]Its not really what people want that's important...........its actually what's good for the country

    Lets go through these........

Firstly..........my dad is a miner.........he has three grandchildren..........all were privately educated.

I agree with lowering taxes for all groups.........for a start taking the minimum wage earners out of tax altogether.
Also like to see lowering the highest rates of tax to the lowest level possible.........this will encourage more high flyers to live and work in this country.
It doesn't matter to me if bankers are earning £1 million per day..........because the money they earn through banking will benefit all the people in society and keep London as the financial capital of the world.

There's a lack of accountability in the NHS and that can only come through ownership.
The NHS is a complicated business but they seem to do it better in some countries in Europe..........the NHS needs reforming and taking it out of Government control.

Repeal of workers rights is vital if we are to achieve a vibrant economy where managers can hire and fire staff to meet the needs of the company. This will ultimately generate more jobs..............the last thing this country needs is employment laws like they have in France.[/QUOTE]

The point about Bankers earning whatever is just what got us into this mess in the First place
The repeal of workers rights is needed to grow the economy is right wing nonsense and what's the point of growing the economy for the few inspite of the many.

You would not have the standard of living or the freedom to an opinion if workers / human rights had not been contested by the ordinary people.obviously you have betrayed that fight in favour of big buisness. Trying to roll back the next generations freedoms which in itself tells us what sort of a selfish person you are.

I do not fear the ukip party in anyway shape or form because when their ideological existence is scrutinised and they are found out to be the anti working class bigots that they are. They will be consigned the the lunatic fringe dustbin they belong in.
But we will be left to judge the people who supported and encouraged them and judge their morality.

And also that other countries do the NHS better than us just shows the strength of your knowledge (or lack of)
No other country in the world (well maybe Cuba.) Does a care for all service free at the point need for everyone as the British system.

Cameron has alienated the Conservative vote by lying about holding a referendum, lying about cutting immigration, being a Europhile, bringing in gay marriage, being a toff and out of touch with ordinary people and generally being a liberal Metropolitan clone of Miliband and Clegg.

The Conservative vote tends to be mainly older people and a lot of them are against it.

Plus even if they're not against it they didn't think it was a priority when which Cameron did and this showed how he was part of the middle-class liberal elite and out of touch with most people.
