Ukip and Farage are reported not take part in votes. How is this representing the UK?

Farage is just an idle freeloader.

You can't blame Eastern Europeans for low wages. The minimum wage is a legal minimum. No one can agree to work for less or pay less. For this you can only blame the employers for this who are breaking the Law by paying less than the minimum wage.

You're an idiot if you think privatising does that.

    Electricity and gas were privatised.

Are they better now than they were before?

Answer is no by the way.

Their product is the same but the customer service is worse and prices are worse.

Plus much of it is now if foreign hands, EDF is Energy de France.

That's your money going to that horrid place you so despise.

Well done, you are this millenniums weakest link, goodbye.

No the real story about the local and European elections is the fact that UKIP have run a coach and horses straight over the top of the three establishment political parties.
And shattered all three of them

And they have done it because people support what they are saying (no matter what people post on here) .........which I have highlighted in this thread.

Liberals have lost the argument and are not trusted while Clegg is in charge

Labour has lurched to the left and can only talk about people on benefits or lower paid - when their duty is to represent all of the people of Britain.
Blair showed how it should be done and they have abandoned his advice..........consequently the people have now abandoned Labour

As for the Tories........their support has fallen through the floor and there is likely to be major splits within this party.

I posted this on here weeks ago............the battle ground at the next general election will be between Cameron and Farage
Miliband and Clegg will be considered as 'also ran'

60% of the electorate didn't vote. Of the 40% who did UKIP got less than 30% of the share. This means 70% of those who voted didn't support UKIP's policies and the 60% who didn't vote didn't care enough one way or another to go out and support UKIP. No matter what way you spin it the results weren't the crashing endorsement of UKIP's policies you paint.

In actual fact 91% of the electorate didn't vote for UKIP and the numbers who didn't vote for any party constituted just shy of 67% so I stand by my assertion that the real story of the 2014 election was the 67% who didn't vote as they overwhelmingly out numbered those who voted UKIP.

Rubbish - the battle at the next election will be between the Tories and Labour. At the moment they are neck and neck and it's doubtful that any other party will get the number of seats that LibDems got last time meaing that any coalition may have to bring in a number of smaller parties, and obviously UKIP would be a better fit for the Tories.

As for "people support what they are saying" - when asked, anyone that voted UKIP only mentions "foreigners", it's frightening because they don't have a clue what else they stand for. This is an extreme right-wing party.

Most of those are lies and smears and as we've seen, that doesn't work.

    http://order-order.com/2014/05/15/circle-run-private-hospital-named-best-in-britain-by-experts/

The best NHS Trust in England is the only privately-run one.

The best health services like the ones in France and Italy are a mixture of public and private spending.

You can't say that everything will be fine because one provider got a 'Bafta'.

The German health system is good, it is based on a number of privately run health insurance systems who pay private companies for services.

But, it is backed up by superb laws that, for instance regulate the purchasing of pharmaceutical drugs so that prices are kept fair and that new drugs are not pushed in people where older cheaper drugs are just as effective. There are also laws limiting the size of high street pharmacies so that there are lots of local pharmacies in competition and not a small number of large blocks who carve up the market.

Can you imagine a UK government telling the big pharmaceutical companies what to do?

How can it be true when they're still writing their manifesto at the moment?

Reserve judgment until it comes out before making stuff up.
