    ... you were virtually the lone voice against the apointment of Spackman, but don't you think it would be a retrograde step.... beside not to let personal predjudices get in the way but... <font size="3">I' can't stand Bassett !!!! </font><font size="1">ahem </font>

    DofF in Manager Out?

    Often a Director of Football coming in is a precursor to a manager going out - as someone mentioned it often does not work. Would Simon Davey accept advice from someone older and wiser.

    Did not like the football under Basset very much but must admit he was very effective with a team that never seemed to play that well. I was amazed that we got to the play offs and but for a missed penalty - well where would we have been?
