There's literally palpably no world in which that will happen. He was a good man manager of a team that had already begun to gel under another manager that he seemed to get on with well, similar to the Flicker half season. He will crumble there, hope the pay off is worth the indignity cos he will be Chesterfield manager before 2020.

I agree to a point. It's been very uninspiring recently. But it's the bigger picture I'm looking at, with the obstacles Hecky has had to contend with. Staying up will be a good season for me and we still are in a position to do that.

Would really hate to see Hecky leave but if he's been taking on board all the negative criticism he's been getting, who could
really blame him.? For me Marco Silva would be a good appointment.

No I'm not and there's no Leeds love in. It's just how I see it. It's a shame it's Leeds, only the Sheffield clubs would be worse for me, but if you look beyond the fact its Leeds United, there's a big club sitting there waiting for success. If the money follows the status of the job, I can see why he'd go, especially given the pressure he may be under at Oakwell in the coming weeks if things don't improve.

Marco Silva ? are you having a laugh ? What's he know about the championship apart from getting clubs relegated to it . I'll stick with Hecky thanks and to pull his thumb art and start winning some football games .

That's what the last 15 managers that went to Leeds thought . We need to fight for our man mate .

Seriously? Many of us (you included iirc) said we wouldn't blame him if he was to leave but because it's Leeds it's unforgivable?

I don't want him to go but if he does I won't turn on him.

Personally can’t see if, certainly don’t want it.He’s always seemed an honourable bloke to me, he’s just signed a new contract, and brought new players in.....just can’t see it.

I get what you're saying and it will be like a kick in the nads but for Hecky to go there (if he does) he's probably just had enough.

I wouldn't blame him if he decides to go.

Bookmakers odds make him favourite as they did for Forest, Sunderland etc.

It says he was selected from a short list of three.
That was quick in getting replies and short listing
Either a load of lies or Hecky applied for job
I do not believe any of it.

Hmm, we spent above average in league one and made the playoffs, we spend below average in the Championship and are 4th bottom. I'd say he did well last season and has performed as expected this season given resources. No working wonders unless I've missed something? I would not sack him, if he left though I'd be sad, it's not like we're losing the worlds best coach.
