    That's the trouble. A lot of people don't realise just how much work is required.

    Took us by surprise but it's definately worth it

    It seems a good ideal idea at first but you've gotta be dedicated. I share mine with a mate and it works nice work wise. Plus our kids love helping aswell.

    Trying my damdest to get the Mrs and kids involved. Mrs doesn't like getting dirty and the kids. Well. Will be kids. Jumping on all the stuff being grown, drowned anything remotely growing with too much water and the greenhouse. Well just waiting for a ball or brick goign through it lol

    It's mostly cos we've got constant bonfires, they've got air rifles and chicks to look after. We've to remind them it's cos of that they can do that other stuff. So they'll be grafting tmoz

    I had an allotment back in the 80's before I emigrated. Secret of success is to dig in plenty of horse manure in the autumn and let it rot down over the winter, produces magic in the spring and summer.
