The proverbial game of 2 halves. A first half formation of 8 defensive players ‘surprisingly’ failed but some quality from McAtee and Luca saw us home. But who was you POTM?

McAtee for me. Changed the game.

Absolutely and fair play to Phillips too.

Russell for me. A solid 90 minutes from him, possibly his best to date. Still a little lightweight in the tackle, but very composed on the ball. Cool head, always looking to get the ball forward and unless I missed one, I don't think he misplaced a pass. More of it please, Jon.

Had to go for McAtee as goals dictate results but I thought Cosgrove, whilst being wasteful and pretty poor first half at times, was nearly as integral to the turnaround as McAtee.

Russell looked decent on the ball, tidy in possession - but he still runs too slowly and lethargically out of possession for me, no urgency on any recovery run - that is needed sometimes. But he actually looked like a footballer today, so much improved.

I thought Russell was very good but as you say out of possession needs a lot of work.

Got to be McAtee, we weren't getting anything from the game until he came on!

Has to be two goal McAtee with Russell and Cadden worthy of mentions

Didn't watch it or listen to it, not sure BFC are doing too much for my mental health at the moment. If I was voting, based on the MDT and result, it would probably have to be McAtee.

Thought Russell played well but gave it McAtee for changing the game.

Has to be McAtee as he changed the game. Phillips also contributed and a mention to Russell best of the starters

I went for Russell, I thought he was excellent throughout, got stuck in, won the ball countless times and never wasted it. What more can you ask of a midfield player?

1st half was turgid stuff, much improved 2nd half, catalyst was McAtee, so he gets my vote.

Russell played well, but McAtee transformed the game.
