Well given that in the opinion of more than 75% he was motm, I'm not sure why you are puzzled. This vote is taken with the whole of the match in mind too. So even though he was taken off, 75% still think that he was the best performer. The complaint was made at the time he was taken off too by the fans. No idea at that stage that we'd score (no wonder too). So why take off your best player?
Because taking him off led to us scoring two goals? I'm not saying I'd have taken him off, or that it was the obvious change to make, just that once he was off the pitch we looked better over all. It's definitely not a dig at Adeboyejo, just a reflection on the effect of his substitution.
Me too, I love how direct he is and always looking to get on the end of things. Can't believe he hasn't been more involved this season.
Should have been Woodrow. Had Vic played as badly as Cawley did today he would have been crucified on here
Vic was the only one trying for 60 minutes, so the useless Markus takes him off. I'm convinced I know more about football than our current Head Coach. He must have won a raffle to replace Valerien
We scored because Sheffield United were on the beach. Not because Vic had been substituted. They only started trying again after we scored the second goal - after which point we didn’t create a single further chance.
Again, I didn't see it that way. They took off a striker and fetched on a third centre back, went to 5 at the back and just shut up shop. If we'd started the second half with the team that finished, and they'd played the 45 minutes with the effort they put into the last 30, we'd have won that match. And as I said above, it's not a dig at any player who was on the pitch in the first half and got substituted, but if we'd played those last 30 minutes 15 minutes earlier, we'd have got a result.
Each to their own opinion wise. You could be right. But I saw the last fifteen minutes, (including the six plus minutes added on). We created absolutely nothing.
It’s amazing he lasted that long. Our most effective player on Wednesday didn’t get on to the pitch until the last 15 mins I voted for vic as well. Guaranteed not to start at Bristol if Schopp is still in charge
Without wanting to be pedantic or cause offence, I've just checked and our goals came in the 78th and 82nd minute. So even if we didn't create another chance after the second goal, I thought I remembered at least one, including some late corners, that's 8 minutes plus 6 stoppage time. Of which 9 minutes they had gone to 5 at the back to see the game out.
I think Cole honermark and iseka made a good call for starts at Bristol but never know with this joker he will probably but odour back in the front 3. Hopefully he's gone before then.
I’m not Victors biggest fan. But today he was really good. Comfortably the best player on the pitch in my opinion. Harsh that the clown in charge dragged him off.
Victor was by the best forward whilst he was on. I was very surprised when he was called off, although with the effort he put in he may have been knackered.
Cole was the player that turned it a bit, but we were 3-0 down. No way Woodrow would start for me, never mind being captain. Sooner Schopp is gone the better.
Big Victor. I booed the head coach for subbing him and gave Victor a round of applause for a very good performance.
