    That was the week he'd been 'off sick', apparently. he was wearing those non regulation blue tracky bottoms that I swear were Birmingham training kit!!

    Though we did have a very nice time, did we win that day?

    Brian Howard had a stormer for the opposition, Martin Devany missed an absolute sitter, Marco Tardelli was there to watch Shane Long. We met Celebrity Monkey and his 'manager', you impressed the Reading goalkeepers with your ball skills and we had a very tasty vegetarian meal.

    Yep, that was the week after I'd also exposed Monkey as a fraud, so imagine the embarrassment! A bit disappointed I didn't get offered a contract by Reading, but you did introduce me to a very nice gentleman who I have remained friends with. And I'm sure those veggie Kievs came from Morrisons, had some last week!!

    I'm going to be devastated if he isn't named captain. I don't buy replica shirts but if the away top is decent I'm going to buy my first shirt since 2005 and get Wiseman 14 on it, and buy a replica captains armband. I might even wear it at work. Look nice if it's fluorescent lime green like the 2001 shirt. No need for me to wear my hi-vis vest.
