    I think it got beyond ridiculous though, where nearly everybody wanted to start new threads.
    And it was just so many duplicate threads on a subject (the match day), that we were already discussing elsewhere.

    We're all Barnsley fans who happen to talk about everything under the sun. That means we're all on the same page. Keep us all on the same page. I like the fact that when I post utter kak about anything on the main page lots of fellow fans will laugh at me and heartily smack me on my online back. Keeps me grounded. As was mentioned this forum is like a busy pub where all Barnsley fans talk about owt they like. Keep it like it is.

    The bbs has never been and never should be exclusively a football forum.

    It’s a forum of Barnsley Football Club fans who talk - primarily about football - but also everything else. Agree. Argue. Call out abhorrence. Help eachother out in various ways.

    It is what it is and is much better than other forums - used by both Barnsley fans and by fans of every other club that I’ve seen.

    Leave it alone.

    It t was a bit daft though. Folk creating a thread and posting, Should have scored there. MDT is miles better and much easier to follow.

    Not even sure how it happened. We tried for years and no one was interested then suddenly it took off

    I'd be happy for the political thread's to be kept separate because it does seem to bring the worst out in some people.

    Big no from me. Think it's what has kept the bbs going all these years is it different.
    I've always thought of it as a forum where Barnsley fans talk but about anything. A bit like when you go down the pub pre match. Yes you talk about the Reds but also any topic. Same in the stands during dull games or qhen we are getting hammered.
    I'm sure some will disagree but that's my view.
