I am what I am, I am no different in real life as I am on the internet. I say what I think and I know that I upset a fair few , because I dont hold back , if I think it , then I say it. Ask Stahlrost and Big lil. I am passionate about Barnsley, not only the club, but the town, I do get frustrated and annoyed by what is happening down at Oakwell, but that is not because I dont care or that I want to wind people up.
People that try to be different persona's according to where they are , are sad buggers and should be treated with the contempt they deserve. Poet should have been banned a long time ago, Dreamy is irritating at times, but a lot of people on this forum see him as an easy target and that gets on my nerves just as much as his silly posts.
I have a feeling that the average age of posters on the BBS has dropped to an all time low recently and if they could only spell and not use bloody text talk, I would at least be able to read their posts and not be distracted by their appalling lack of basic English.

    rant over

The mad guy is right. I don't agree with some of what he says about BFC, but he knows that doesn't affect our ability to sit and discuss it over a pint. I think we both behave like mature adults about it. He's right, he's the same on here as he is in real life, and I think I am too.

    I'm not.

    I'll admit it.

I like to play the fool sometimes, both on here and in real life. However, if you look through some of my posts on here, only an infinitesimal proportion of them are 'stupid'. Quite a lot of them are interesting, factual and informative. It would seem, however, that people would rather pick on the negatives, and put people down, pulling them to pieces, rather than praise or employ positive though patterns; much like real life really.

I'm up for a few pints of real ale, when anyone is.

    Morning lovie. How are you?
Looking forward to today to see if we make any signings. I like this holiday lark, being able to keep popping back to the computer to see the latest, (sad or what?) much better than work. Hope to meet up next Sat pre-match. I'll see where Fi is starting off.
I think with me too, what you see is what you get. I've been pilloried on here in the past for my passion about BFC and for writing posts when I haven't calmed down after a game or I'm up and then down. But that's me. I can't change. As has been said, there's always the ignore function.

Like I go on a pub to pub bender or something? :D

Kids in tow nearly every Saturday now so prefer the quieter places.

Probably Lucorum. It's about time you showed up - you might get piloried by me if you don't come along on day soon.

You coming to the Cow & Calf tomorrow? (raiseaglass)

Hi Fi. I was going to PM you. Very tempted but now with this bus strike thing I don't think it's feasible any more. I appreciate the directions and bus info etc and have filed it for another time. Love the 'Cow and Calf ' though. Had some really good times in there in the past. Have you tried the 'Silkstone?' Good pub with real ales. We'll arrange summat for next Sat.

Why? its what you did isn't it?

You posted saying that a gunman was killing people from the town hall clock tower. You knew it would scare people and you knew that people on this site have lvoed ones that could very well have been in danger. The post as you very well know was completely false and made up so tell me, why should i retract my post?
