    What worries me is we seem to have quantity rather than quality at the moment. Experienced players like Hassell, Dagnall, Dawson, McNulty (I know Tranmere will be paying a bit) and Cwyka all collecting a decent wage yet none, apart from Cwyka, are likely to involved much at all.

    Then there's the supposedly injured Luke Steele, possibly the highest earner, who will only play again if Butland gets a Premier League loan move at the end of this one or gets injured.
