It looks good but it won't get the high footfall that it needs to attract people to the town centre imo and can be forgotten about. The last time I went it had a couple of opticians, hairdressers, a staniforths. They dilute it in my opinion and make it more of a street that has a few independent shops in instead of a street full.
You go to a bank, and you are under 80? I think the last time I actually went into a bank branch was more than 15 years ago.
Unfortunately its something I have to do at least once a month and not through choice but that's another story.
The new town square has been designed for a footfall route through the arcade to connect with the town hall area.
