Purpose built stadium and a cupboard for a Players lounge. Yes it's brilliant. All that space to go at & they give the players a characterless cupboard. Let me know when their far superior stadium has its own on site academy/ indoor facility- I think I missed that on my visit.
RE: Purpose built stadium There's just no comparison sunshine. If you reckon Oakwell is superior then you are seeing it through the eyes of a bias Barnsley supporter. Still we say as we see, it's all about opinions and all that.
hmmm I think not. We have a larger capacity, better facilities and plenty of room for expansion. Donny have little other than a bijou, characterless flat pack stadium thats nice for their needs.
RE: hmmm I'm a Rotherham supporter so I ain't going to get into a Barnsley versus Pikey debate, but as someone who has worked on the Keepmoat, and Oakwell I'd say the Keepmoat is far superior in every way other than capacity. Information technology facilities, training facilities, rehabilitation facilities, conference facilities, eating and drinking facilities, press facilities, hospitality, are all superior to Oakwell.
One area where we are untouchable .... the Gents "All Weather" toilets behind the old wooden East Stand. Have they made any improvements in the close season. I thought that some ladies may have even said a word about their SINGLE toilet.
