Is it just me who doesn't get why folk have got there knickers in a twist about the transfer dealings ??

LJ or the admin team identifies them, LJ carries out due diligence on the player and then hands it over to the admin lot to get a deal done if he wants the player, cant see an issue if indeed it works like that.

No twisted knickers here. I believe LJ has chosen all the players we've brought in. So the buck stops with him.

Slightly ironic now the pressure is on he's started giving this insight (which I havent heard). Never heard him say or give the impression he was anything less than entirely happy in the summer. As I raised on another thread, I distinctly remember rolling my eyes everytime I read his interviews on new signings saying HE had done his due diligence on them.

He never did explain how his denial fitted in with his earlier statement in the programme though did he.

In fact at the meeting didn't he focus more on how his son didn't select the team which he thought was everyone's major complaint when in actually fact only a handful of loonies were even suggesting such a thing? Everyone else was questioning the " active involvement" which Patrick had stated was happening.

Also, lets not forget LJ will have known in depth and fully agreed to work under whatever conditions are in place when he came in so there can be no excuses on his part.

Neither can anybody else be held accountable for his poor tactics.

It's nowt new for the suits to sort the contracts. What's different here is that the manager does not have some control over transfer targets. For example if he wanted to sign Kevin Nolan his request is likely to be rejected due to the player not fitting the profile of player we are wanting to sign now.

In addition, it seems that transfer targets are identified by anyone on this committee.

No, he didn't say that. He said that about picking the side.
