They ought to be confident. Yaya Toure is probably on at least 75x what our top earner is on. So I expect him to be at least 75x better.

Their starting line up against Leeds probably cost at least 200x what ours did, so I expect their squad as a whole to be 200x better.

Therefore if we score 1, I expect them to score 200, although i'm pretty confident they won't.

It just goes to show, money has got very silly in football these days.

I hope we can give them a game, however I just feel our back line may be made to look silly against the likes of Tevez, Aguero and Silva.

Gutted Ballotelli has left, as he is the single most overrated footballer in the history of English football, imo.

Trouble is, we could turn up, give a really good account of ourselves, put Man City under some pressure, grab a goal and still get hammered. City are capable of putting together a 15 or 20 minute spell where they'll just be untouchable no matter how well we play. In that time they could bang in 3 or 4 goals.

I know we haven't got to be defeatist, but we can't underestimate the extent of the task either. If we beat them it will be the hardest fought victory in our history. The victories over Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea were unbelievable, fantastic results against very strong sides. But each of those clubs did rest players. I fear Man City will put out their strongest team as the FA Cup is their best chance of silverware. To beat a team like that where just about every player has an annual wage bigger than our club's budget would be an amazing result.

Don't think days are decided, they'll wait til after tonight I think as if United win then both Manchester clubs at home so will be different days. Anyway - I reckon Millwall v Blackburn is the least attractive tie

My thoughts exactly, some of their football for the goals yesterday was sublime. I posted yesterday regarding the teams of Chelsea & Liverpool and the fact that City will be virtually at full strength. At least this cup run has left us with a healthy bank balance, along with the sales of Butterfield, Stones & Davies.
