If the council put everyone's council tax up £60 it would generate over £4m. That's more than what we get in season ticket revenue. (assuming 10,000 season ticket holders at an average of £250 = £2.5m)

Then they could set the price of match day tickets to £5 and we'd have a full Oakwell every week and if we were clever, we'd generate even more money by selling food, drink and confectionary to all the kids.

And we'd have a minimum of 65,000 households spitting feathers.

Don't know why. The mugs pay silly money to watch em. Another £60 on the council tax won't make em bat an eyelid. And they should be happy to be allowed to live among us. Got to be worth £60 alone. :)

    Also

How much is the rent per annum for the club in the new lease?

The rent paid by Barnsley Football Club is commercially sensitive information and I apply Section 43(2) – commercial interest, which is a prejudice-based exemption which says that information is exempt if its disclosure under FOIA would, or would be likely to,
prejudice the commercial interests of any legal person (including the public authority holding it). Disclosure would harm our commercial interest or that of the third parties in a competitive environment and to release information would undermine our ability to maintain a competitive position.

There is public interest in allowing public authorities to withhold information which if disclosed, would reduce providers’ ability to compete in a commercial environment.
