    No it isn't. We dont need a big physical centre forward. We need a finisher. Whether he's 4 foot 6, or 6 foot 9.

    why would MK Dons want him, they'll be in the Championship next season and he's already proven he can't cut it at this level.

    What will happen is

    Oddjob will sign for MK Dons, never ever score, and then bag a hat trick when they play us at Oakwell next season.

    A big centre forward is what we need.........its got to be

    Maken is good at holding the ball up and given a chance he will score, but he aint big enough to be a target man

    Continually you see players looking up for someone to hit as a target.......and we haven't got anyone

    Odejayi isn't the answer so I would imagine that SD will be bringing in a target man, someone in, dare I say it, the Christensen sort of mold

    heard yisday boyd from peterboro coming , el manure going to donnie £200k. oddjob going to mk dons on loan, mostto going home, muller to pompey £3.5mill, young kid coming from darlington. it wor a busy 20mins outside club shop.

    Boyd would be a great signing. Cant see Peterboro letting him go mind, they turned down £3m for McClean from Wolves.

    I wouldnt be surprised if clubs came sniffing in January. Not Just for Muller. I reckon we have a few more players that could have caught the eye.

    Saw it mentioned in the paper today that Jamie Ward will only cost someone 250K next month. I know he's a division four striker, but for that he's probably worth the risk.
