RE: ADS = central midfielder.

Hallfredsson played left side midfield at Donny and he was utter ****. Just saying like.

He might just be **** then....

Last night he just looked off the pace - that said he produced a cracking shot which the keeper did well to save.

Dunno if the international games and travelling etc have knackered him or what. He wasn't on his own though to be fair, the whole midfield individually and collectively looked out of sorts to me.

I'd have to agree, but ADS has looked more involved on the right, in a strange kind of way. Perhaps Robins feels that by playing him in the middle he leaves a gap.

I could not believe at times how much space we gave them from the top. That number 5 was worse on the ball than Big Dave (who played a couple of cultured-ish balls last night!) but we never got close to him. As for Halfredsson and Mr Colace...not fit at best last night.

Still, it shows how far we have moved under Robins that we are having this debate but still believe that we can win on Saturday as we know he will change what has not worked, and also remember that the squad is still painfully thin and perhaps he might want to rest a couple but does not have teh bodies, especially with one allegedly walking oout who could have made a difference last night.

I'd have to go Doyle alongside ADS. Colace is too soft for my liking and as the example in teh first half showed, is virtually cluless going forward, goal against Burnley excepted!

Steady, you'll have Blantyre Red or whatever on your back...

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. It's the Argie marvel that bothers me.

Agrre with that - was praying we'd pressure their back 2, cos they were dodgy when they didn't have time. Gray did his best, but when his team mates are 50 yards away it's difficult...

That'd keep me awake at night.

I think Robins wanted ADS and Halfreddson to get forward and support but they did not seem able to. Perhaps they were hanging back to provide cover. Old habits die hard as well...

He gets more time on the ball out wide to create and pick a pass than he would in the middle getting clobbered.
