Feared the worst when I saw him emerge from the tunnel at 2.55 this afternoon. He's got real quality and I was sure he would pick holes in our defence. How average was he though? I've never seen a striker caught offside as easily. I think Helik and Moon did a really good job on him and the one time he did get through, Collins was there to save us again.
I thought our tactically inept manager and coaches along with our useless players must have fluked a way to negate his influence on the game.
I'm confused, do you think my original post was sarcasm? It was just an observation about an opposing player.
Not at all. Your comment was valid. DS was in his way. Agreeing with you. Else I'm removing my like on his post lol.
Oh right. Difficult to detect sarcasm when it's wrote on a message board as opposed to when it's spoken and heard.
It was meant to be sarcastic. Sorry if this board has become such that it wasn't obvious. I'll put it at the end in brackets next time.
Can't say I've ever seen anything exciting. I remember he got sent off last time at Oakwell for a lunge on Ben Williams (?).
He was caught offside so often and what was frustrating, every time he was offside he kicked the ball away towards the goal. No doubt if it was Cauley he’d have been booked immediately.
He smashed one in midweek - was a reight goal. He looks a really good player, very skilful if a little frustrating. Our pathetic defence and midfield didn't give him a sniff today. We really are rubbish and are definitely going down #sarcasm
