It was Andy Giddings, not Ben Mansford, that actually used the peculiar turn of phrase in question first. Ben just responded in kind.

Ben was actually taking the piss out of the way Andy Giddings phrased the question. Either nobody got it or nobody has actually bothered to listen to what Ben had to say.
