I did 2nd half for sibbock to be honest, I cant believe he isn't in the 1st 11. Best right back in league one last season.

 

Cavare got a lot of plaudits last season and deservedly so but he’s nowhere near good enough for this league. He hasn’t got the right temperament/attitude, something wrong with his character.

Disagree all you want but it shows alot that Nick Townsend broke his hand fighting him.

I love this team & i feel like we’re onto something good but a few bad apples can ruin it.

Against Fulham he had a great game at left back but there might be something in Stendel putting Williams in & keeping Sibbick in at right back, both who had very good games.

 

Wilks and Thomas changed wings at half time, it made us look more solid. Not sure what Charlton changed.

 

They copied our change. So they still played most down the bench touchline again, which meant Williams had a quieter 2nd half and Sibbick busier.

 

Wonder if hes saving Cavare for the Birmingham match?

 

Neither are really good enough for the championship, both will have the odd decent game but in reality its a position we should have strengthened with a championship ready player in the summer. Pinillos will get rinsed for pace in this league.

 

Williams is no better than Mcarthy was. Good going forward but deserts his defensive duties. I judge a full back on his defensive capabilities. He's not even in the picture for the first goal which came down his side. 2nd goal he was fast asleep st the throw in. He'll cost us more goals than he'll create.

 

Imho...had a decent game yesterday.
However at this moment in time no where near the standard required in this division.
He gets "stuck in" and his delivery is pretty good.
However his defensive decision making is poor, he gets caught out too and another who is not quick enough in thought and movement. He dives in (lets call it too impetuous in the challange).

However he is young and can learn. he has had a few good games but this is the championship, different level, different attitude required.

 

If cavare isn't good enough for this league neither is sibbock, for me cavare is the best full back we have.

I'm just commenting on his football abilities and you have to play your best players.
