I'm not sure when footballers replaced parents as role models but it's a load of *****.

 

They haven`t replaced them, but kids do look up to footballers, singers, teachers, relatives, etc besides their parents. At some point in time during a youngsters life their parents will be the last to be heard or even given the time of day.
