Ive only been to a few aways but the best one was Huddersfield in the great escape. Emotions up and down every minute.

Worst HAS to be Coventry in 2012. Most boring match and stadium ever. Summed up by a last minute goal by Platt. The city was a depressing 70s flashback too.

    Worst:
Altrincham. Was a great day out but my God, that was a bad as I've ever seen a BFC team play. Utterly woeful. Although it's possibly good he stayed, Johnson should have been sacked that night for me. What a shambles.

Northampton (FA Cup 2004/5?): Not sure on the date there. First round of the cup under Paul Hart. We lost 1-0 and I seem to recall Hart leaving an in-form Nardiello at home and instead opting for a half fit Barry Conlon. We ended up trying to get a last gasp equaliser with a front two of Fola Onibuje and Matt Carbon. Utterly depressing. Seem to remember at least one fan being chucked out and their fans having a right giggle at us. And it was cold!

    Best:
A few have already been mentioned but a shout would be the 3-0 win at Oldham in 2006 as we closed in on the play offs. After a few years of utter rubbish, we sang the Brazil song for ages. Happy times.

Best - West Ham 87, Sheff Utd 82, Liverpool 82 - all League Cup. If Wembley counts then Millwall in May. Wolves 91 League, Paul Stancliffe ha ha. Mansfield 80 League.

Worst - where do I start? Bromsgrove 94.

i havent been to many away games, but i will offer my own comments on what i think are our worst ever...

7-0 at West brom in 1989-90, this came just after the sacking of Allan clarke and at the end of the season, a team like west brom were also in a relegation battle with us.
7-0 at Manure in 1998-99, in the Prem season against the manure scumbags. we put them out of the Fa cup that season so it shows just how bad we were that day in the league game.

I was at that game we battered them - think they had six shots and scored six

Worst for me was West Brom away on the final day of the season (06/07 I think) when we were beaten 7-1. With the honourable exception of Luke Potter who was making his debut, precious few of Davey's mercenaries gave a toss with us having secured survival and West Brom already being promoted. Their lack of effort and refusal to even make an attempt to look like they were arsed was a bit of a kick in the face to our large away following who had made the journey.

Best, although I wasn't there in person, has to be the Birmingham Play-Off Semi in 2000.

Best: 2-1 win at Maine Road, for obvious reasons. The draw that relegated dem blades in 2011 was nice. Anfield twice. The Brum hammering in the playoffs. The Rochdale away game when Keith was here, Bobby int net, Daggers scoring etc. Great day. Bradford last season was massive at the time, a real breakthrough. But I think my favourite away performance that I witnessed would have to be the season finale at Huddersfield under Flicker. You couldn't replicate that. The emotions of it all, the highs, lows and what the fcuks. Just a perfect day.

Worst: I could name so many but I'm going to name just one - the 3-1 defeat at Hillsborough, Spackman's final game. Just horrendous. The only time I've ever joined in with a chant calling for the managers head. The 4-0 reverse at Bradford (same season?) on the opening day wasn't pleasant either. But aye, that Wednesday one was horrific.

Still cant believe Howard didnt play in Richards in the build up to it.

Also, even I had skids for the last 10 mins of that game.

Best - Always the unexpected factor, so Winning 4-0 at Birmingham in the play-off game & 2-1 at Leeds under machin & the 2-1 win at Anfield 2008.

Worst - wow where do you start, Bromsgrove even though we won was awful. Grimsby 6-1 & losing 4-0 at Tranmere in the cup under Bassett was horrific.

Lost 4-0 at Coventry a few years ago where Souza and Howard had a spat, that was bloody dreadful.
