To be honest mate, I'm not upset by what you said, at the end of the day its opinions, I was just replying to the 'only went to play for Chesterfield' bit.

At the end of the day, I'd have either been a cockney or not here, so all in all every cloud and that.

Are we accepting Butterfield as homegrown then, despite him coming from Man Utd at 15 years old? I'm including him, based on him becoming a professional with us. And because the missus would kill me, if she read the forum of course.

Watson; Eaden, Stones, Moses, Jones; Agnew, Banks, Butterfield, Noble-Lazarus; Liddell, Fallon.

Only laikers from my time watching us included. So that rules out Big Eric, Barra, Hirst etc. And involves me having to pick Reuben and Rory. Which dunt say a lot for our record at producing forwards/wingers. I nearly picked Sean McClare, for **** sake. Defenders I could have picked loads. I've left out Bree, Barker, Smith, Tiler, Holgate etc.

My one outstanding memory of Eric Winstanley was a match against Watford at Oakwell in 1969. With Barnsley losing 2- O, Eric went up front, hit a hat trick giving the club maximum points.
