    He has mate, but he's only played 15 games in 2 and a half years as back up at Palace. Perhaps he can get back to his best, but from being England's youngest goalkeeper and attention from the biggest clubs in the world as a teenager, to losing his spot in the championship first 11 at Stoke and being even 3rd choice at times at a mid table club at Palace isn't exactly where many people thought his career would go

    The reason he was boo’d after scoring was because he thought he didn’t have to put in a shift for the team and could just live off his goals without the effort!!!

    I actually think he learnt a lot from the boos, firstly that the fans of Barnsley would put up with anyone who gave 100% for the shirt and the second … When he did put more effort in his goals ratio per game dramatically improved (I think he scored a brace in the next 2 games and went on to score 20+ for the season!)

    Perfect circle … the more effort he put in, the more he scored, the more the fans got behind him, the more effort he put in!
