Or the thai sweet chilli sensations.

Mackie's really are the best crisps!! Proper thick chonkers and not greasy. Oh, and full of flavour. I'm looking at you, Seabrook's! Prawn Cocktail for me though.

Sadly they no longer exist, discontinued last year.

I used to love getting a particularly mustardy pack, they would strip the lining off your sinuses.

Didn't realise that, out of everything that's happened over the past year, this is probably the worst.

How do you pronounce Mackie's? Is it like the warden off porridge or does it rhyme with the offensive word used for someone from Pakistan?

Got to be Mackie's cheese and onion. If you've not tried them do. Usually sold in Aldi or Lidl so if you're posh and go to MandS you'll not have seen em.

Can't remember who did them, but there was once a Wasabi flavour crisps. After a packet of them you couldn't taste anything for a week, they were really strong!

Can`t believe that here in the US they don`t have nearly as many flavours as we have in the UK. Lays brand are Walkers but they only have like 4 flavours. Then there`s a couple of other brands but they`re all around the same 4 flavours. Plain, Sour cream & chive, BBQ or salt n vinegar. I miss the crisp selection.

    From the Lay's US website:
    Cheddar Jalapeno
    Classic
    BBQ
    Sour Cream and Onion
    Cheddar and sour cream
    Flaming hot
    Salt and vinegar
    Southern heat BBQ
    Hickory BBQ
    Chili limon
    Limon
    Dill pickle
    Flaming hot dill pickle
    Chesapeake bay crab
    Adobadas
    Sea salt and black pepper
    Maui onion

It's weird there's actually a lot of flavours but they all seem to be slight variations of exactly the same thing

I like most flavours when it comes to crisps. Two I can’t stand though are Ready Salted and Prawn Cocktail.

Salt and Vinegar crisps piled thick on two buttered brown tea cakes. With a nice mug of coffee. Heaven.

As previously mentioned Seabrook's Salt n Vinegar, but I've just discovered these, a new challenger!
