I don't recall ever playing in Pogmoor. You would know if I had.

Clint Marcelle receives the ball on the left wing, holds it, feigns a step-over and a pass inside, before nonchalantly laying the ball off to a overlapping Darren Barnard legging it at pace down the wing. One touch, gets to the byline then a hard low cross into a crowded penalty box. Ashley Ward sliding in gets there first to poke it home from six yards.
    Name that goal?

Neil Thompson crosses the halfway line ball at feet, late on. Looks up, sees nothing - hesitates while opposition midfield & defence close in on him. Takes a touch then sends a perfectly weighted ball along the ground into an empty right side final third to an invisible Nicky Eaden ghosting in from nowhere who hits it first time in his stride under a defenceless goalie.

    Name that historic goal?

If you are now in your early 40s, that might have been me who beat you up and stole your dinner money. I would like to apologise and assure you that it was not personal and there has occurred some positive development in between.
