    I can't tremember one, either

I DO remember him chipping Tony Norman in the Sunderland goal from about 25 yards on Easter Monday 1989. It was the final goal in a 3-0 win.

RE: Most people too young to remember .....

John Bettany - think it was a County Cup Game against Sheff Utd. Outside 18 yd box and virtually on the goal line! Late 60s I think. It didnt curl in either - straight hard shot!

RE: Well I'm not sure if it what you mean

No it wasn't that as i remember both stoke cup games from that season. he was very acrobatic. I remember going to port vale away and goalie ian wardle broke his leg and cooper went in goal, he was excellent. threw himself at everything.

Yep I was there that night

Ian got a very bad one and if I remember rightly he never played again.

I remember thinking that as an outfield player Steve Cooper could jump as if his mother was a kangaroo, but when he went in goal he seemed to struggle to win punches for high crosses. He did OK though he was laughing all over his face most of the time.

Still can't for the life of me remember a bicycle kick, and the great dirty old man has failed too. Just about to get googling.

As I have such large breasts, I've found it quite difficult to find one that gives me adequate support.

Yes I've heard others say that

No luck with Google I'm afraid. However, I did find this http://www.fortunecity.com/wembley/oakwell/142/pastplay.htm which has some good memories including this description of a Ronnie Glavin goal.

"Ronnie Glavin (12k) : A Legend. A Class apart from the rest of the team of the time. Richard Nunn remembers "He scored a superb goal, one of the best I've seen at Oakwell, in a 4-1 victory against Shrewsbury Town. Picture a right wing corner at the Ponty End, which goes to Mick McCarthy who's stood in the box, who does a back header to Glavin who scores with an incredible overhead/bicycle kick. Anyone remember this?"

I'll let you into a secret

Crystal's bras don't fit me and she's a 44DD. I tried wearing one a few years ago and it wouldn't fasten at the back. I had to wear it on my head instead.
We were on holiday, so I didn't feel daft.

    It bloody well was

And it was Derrick Parker who scored the goal, not Ronnie Glavin.
