I remember that. So many goals to choose from but King Ronnie's at Millmoor in 1981 stands out for me. We are winning 3-2 near the end when a very good Rotherham side get a corner. Ronnie heads it clear from around 8 yards out. Banksy picks it up and hits an inch-perfect pass into Barraclough's path. He takes it on and tries to clip it over the keeper who manages to divert it to his left away from goal. Fortunately, Ronnie's run the length of the pitch, and, of course, he finishes it. And then there's Ronnie's winner at Hillsborough on Easter Monday 1983, having come on as a sub. And then there's Ronnie's equaliser at Hillsborough the Tuesday after the Rotherham game. And not forgetting Ronnie's winner at..........etc etc
Ronnie Glavin with a bicycle kick, from a Mick McCarthy back header, in the 4-0 victory versus Shrewsbury Town at Oakwell, August 1981.
without picking the obvious barnard goal, trevor aylott's goal from half way line against Brighton, john deehans handball goal versus Leeds in FA Cup, tony cunninghams winner versus fulham after we'd been 3 down after 9 minutes, ian banks free kick against burnley. great memories
