Wednesday 3 Spurs 4, with Klinsmann

At Swillsboro, Klinsmann's first game in English football, famous celebratory dive and all. Cracking game.

Liverpool – Chelsea in the Champions League Semi Final.

An atmosphere I’ll probably never experience again.

I’ve also been to Barcelona – Real Madrid (2005) , Famagusta - Rangers (2005), Liverpool – Man Utd and England against Tuniaia at the 98 World Cup. Which all stick out as games I’ve been to.

Shafton Lambs v Cudworth Village Club when one of the Walton twins (Cuworth) smacked the ref. on the chin. They carted the ref. I think they called him Kirk, to the doctors surgery on Manor View.

Northampton vs. Peterborough a few years ago

Only 7,000 there, which was a sell out. Finished 2-1 to Northampton. The stick Barry Fry was getting was hilarious, he was a good sport too. He was worth the entrance fee alone.

The match was played at 100mph from first whistle to the last, true local derby. Best bit was, being a neutral the winner didn't bother me, I was just enjoying the night.

    Liverpool 0 Arsenal 2

So good they made a film about it. I was stood behind the Arsenal goal and just in front of the Kop when Thomas scored and I immediately turned back round and looked up at the Kop and it was fantastic - all those faces that had been gloating all game suddenly went green.

And as much as our cheeky scouse friends will maintain that they're great sports and stayed to clap Arsenal they're talking nonsense - the Kop emptied in no time. Even some of the players refused to shake hands with the Arsenal players - step forward Mr Aldridge!

The Everton v Wimbledon game sent the Blades down in 1994 (good outcome for you lot)

That particular game formed part of the matchfixing allegations against Fashanu, Grobbelar and Seegers (spit). Everton were 2-0 down and allegedly Seegers performed all manner of acrobatics to concede 3 goals keeping Everton up and relegating us. At 4-30pm 4 results were going for us 15 minutes later we were down.

    You have to laugh.

Funnily enough can't remember that. Can remember a 3-3 match against Villa at the Lane in 1967.

Thinking about it .... I think it was around 1974-75, got there on the 'special' from the Midland Station, to the station at the side of Villa Park (can't remember it's name), I remember we stood on the old open end opposite the Holt end. </p>

    Fowls 6 Leeds Scum 2. 1995.

Took my (then) girlfriends kids as 1 was a Wednesday fan and 1 was a Leeds fan. I was strictly neutral of course. Cracking game though, Wednesday looked like they were going to score every time they went forward.
