What's all this? Must have been before my time on the forum, sounds very dramatic!

I may have this wrong but Shefftyke was one of the most prolific posters in the BBS around 10 years or so ago. He was part of the group who set up AFC Barnsley. In fact he claimed to have funded it all with a lottery win (while at the same time another member of the group told me personally that it was in fact he who funded it). When people questioned him on it he did a biglil style flounce and eventually, for reasons I can't remember, he left the BBS and I think his brother or somebody like that announced his death despite the fact that he very much alive as we speak. Despite apparently being such a big reds fan that he set up and funded AFC to 'ensure the clubs survival' he is now an active West ham (I think) fan .

    Very bizarre indeed

Are we now allowed to say W!ndy?

I remember shortly after his departure that the swear filter used to block the use of his name as he'd apparently threatened legal action over people using it?

All seems a bit daft looking back now.

I think it's Tottenham. In his (slight) defence, he was very pro-active when we went into administration, rattling buckets and the like. Was part of our pre-Wembley 2000 weekender around that London's fleshpots - three days for which I think I am still paying. Hic.
