Hey we've found TWO hidden gems this season in both Dak Prescott as QB, and Ezekiel Elliott as RB. And I think Tony Romo was/is over rated, they don't call him the poor mans Troy Aikman for nothing do they ;)

    Agreed
Usually one team dominates - not this time
But I think the Super Bowl does reveal something of the American mentality
When they are winning then everything is great
But when they start to lose - it's like a pack of cards
I watched the highlights - and there were a couple of incidents where you could see that Atlanta knew they had lost the game but were still about 16 points in front.
    Fragile American egos.

The ball was in play for just over 16 minutes.

    16 minutes!!!!!!

How long did it take for them to resolve those 16 minutes? About 3 hours.

I enjoy the NFL, I can appreciate the amazing skills involved, but 16 friggin minutes?

Tom Brady - The Ronaldo of the NFL.

Did nowt for three quarters of the game, spent most of the time on his a*se being sacked he also wasn't helped by a few dropped catches and then comes up trumps in the final quarter - a lot of credit must go to Edelman's unbelievable catch. Like when Ronaldo goes missing in the Champions League final and then steps up for the final penalty. Breaks the passing record and most number of Superbowls for a QB and I thought for 99% of the game Matt Ryan was the best QB on the field.

It then ends up being the Tom Brady show.

At half time (or may even have been after the 3rd quarter), on the BBC commentary they were stating that all the talk at the end of the game will be about Brady and what went wrong - how fickle things are.

In NFL a lot comes down to momentum and keeping your defence off the field. The problem for the Falcons in the 4th quarter was that they didn't run down the clock well, and their defence was being put under pressure.

Was in Mexico at the time, me n the missus were in an Italian themed restaurant & noticed the score 3-28. I thought to myself this will go into O-T & the winner of the coin toss will go on to win. On the way out of the restaurant I saw a couple of Patriot fans & I was this close to saying to them what I had thought, kicking myself at not talking to them. Fantastic game though as you say, I root for the Bengals BTW.

Thats just it though, the QB is the main star of any team and they take most of the credit or most of the flack, depending on how the team does.
I liked how Y2J Chris Jericho gave Tom Brady a mention the following night on Wwf raw. Brady's name made it onto Jericho's bad list :D
