    Italia 90. Finished my GCSEs just as it started so didn't have much else to do but watch it. It's what caused me to fall in love with football. I wasn't much of a football fan up until that point (although had been to Oakwell a few times)

    1970 for me. That Brazil side is the best team I've seen on the international stage bar none.

    Youngster - I was working in Munich for 2 weeks of the qualifiers and it was great watching in the bars there
    I was also in Munich for some of the 2006 World cup and it was a great place to watch - watched quite a few games on the big screen in the Chinese Beergarden in the Englisher Gaten. Unfortunately couldnt get a ticket for a match ( at least not without using touts at silly prices)
    Dont think the technology was quite there in 90 for the big screens in beer gardens '90 was a better world cup though
