Beterbiev vs Bivol

It needs a rematch. Because it was superb to watch. The absolute best fighting the absolute best. So good to see. There wasn’t a loser out there. But, for me, I had Beterbiev by a round. It was that close. Their faces tell a story too. Not a mark on Artur.

 

There's something wrong if you class that as a bore. I had Bivol ahead but it was close. Rematch seems a given.

Look at their ring walks. They aren’t about the hype. Just a pair of absolute warriors.

Pure boxing tonight. I loved it. Could have watched another 20 rounds of that.

 

Enjoyed that fight. Better than the one sided mismatches we often see. Great to see how two different styles match up. Closer than the one scorecard given. Maybe 1 round in it. Looking forward to a rematch as both seems to feel they could have done better and now they know what to expect.

Really? I thought it was respectful. Watching it last night and back I thought bivol just edged a close fight I'd like to see a rematch. He took the defeat well and Arthur is a man of few words anyway. The fight sold itself from the off 2 of the best.
Give me that over conor benn following Chris eubank around saudi then getting in the ring after he's fought like wwe, proper cringy and the bloke is still banned for peds.

 

I said this to my wife as soon as it happened. His mouth certainly looked like a stroke victim's.

 

Damage to his upper mandible, he’s had minor surgery to repair it today. As bad as it looked it was ‘only’ a cracked and slightly displaced jaw. He’s fine thankfully.
