Better team

Tactically we deserved the win - Duff managed the substitutions brilliantly and they all came on and effected the game as others tired when Wednesday were on top. They didn't have an answer and we went for the win and got it.

 

If we're being right 2-0 to us was very, very flattering to them at the Sty. 6-2 on aggregate is a reasonable reflection across the two games.

I don't want Bannan because our side is based around team and squad not individuals and our 18(16) were too strong over a full 90 minutes for their 11 last night. Duff better utilised his whole squad across the 90 minutes as evidenced by having Luke Thomas up his sleeve to run at them late and wrestle back the momentum.
