keith hill has constantly had a go at us the fans since the start of the season,we've been constantly reminded how we are punching above our weight and that our sole aim is survival....for as long as i've been going the chant has always been for the manager to give us a wave,,,every game last season without fail robbins got the chant,,it has not been the case this season,,i just dont think he has instilled confidence in the fans,,,it nowt to do with feckin song choice, its just an observation................maybe we've had the red and white army bit,but for me thats more about getting an atmosphere to get behind the players as much as the manager.. the point of the thread is why our gates have declined, and i personally think keefy boys negative attitude is part of it.. having said that i've been to every home game and i've renewed my tickets for next season..............i wont be askin him for a wave tho'.
I think the majority of fans are just backing the fact we cant afford to keep changing managers and KHiller is the cheap option.
My view of the "give us a wave" song is that it usually comes when you are comfotable in a game, a couple of goals up and fans are feeling relaxed. In that sense it is different to "red and white army" which is more to get the team going. Maybe it's because we've lost more than we've won this season and we've not really had those comfortable positions - in fact one occasion when we did we threw it away (Ipswich), so probably more down to circumstance than how people feel about the manager. Did we sing it against Leeds? I can't rememeber.
