Maybe they're behind the "Conway Out" Group?

I presume that the PMG shareholding can't be broken down so that any change can be seen?

Can you tell if Conway retains his position otherwise than at BFC within PMG?

And have we put a late bid in for Haaland?

No, but as Gally alluded to when there is an updated version lodged this may become clearer as you'd expect those investors "taking steps to directly register their interests" to then be listed as a separate entity/entities.

I would have thought so as it's his/Grace Hung's company afaik.

    Alf-Inge? :D

I've been trying to do some info-gathering on the other clubs for a while - I've posted a bit, mainly on Nancy in other threads in the past. As part of this I came across a few of their sites and fans on line who were ahead of the game with looking into the owners. They had got info from the Companies Registry in Hong Kong - which isn't cheap - and we're okay for me to have this. I had a lot of the same questions as people have raised but it's now freely out in France today anyway so I've put it out.

    Thank you for that.

So it could be that the PMG shareholders have either changed, or changed their minds about who ought to be looking after their money?

Either way, it's a long road to Oakwell and a community club that we all love and hold forever in our hearts.

Isn't PMG supposedly Conway's company? In which case the mystery investors may have dumped not only Conway, but the PMG shell itself.

I’d love to hear the bs Conway spouts to try and spin this as a success or within his gift.

I’m not sure how it will work, if a parent company shareholding will block them getting involved in another uk club, or if just being removed as directors releases them. I’m thinking the former is more likely.

There are far smarter posters than me on here to address that.

Saying that PMG is "Conway's Company" is I think wrong.

Anyway, all this off field stuff never bothered me until the internet came along.

We need a striker . Otherwise football at Oakwell is futile. Someone hear me.

I did a lot of research a few years ago on our owners. Most of the businesses they claimed to own weren't businesses at all, their websites were shell websites. PMG was a third rate media distributor with a portfolio of next to nothing. Registered offices were not offices at all, most likely PO boxes. I literally bumped into Paul Conway at Oakwell, I was in the 'smoking area' by the Ponty and he came out of a side door that I didn't even know existed. He wore a cheap, ill fitting nylon suit and worn out shoes.

None of the media reports were true. They had no money.

But I couldn't find that document.

So for those of us at the back that are a little bit thick like me, are we actually saying that when we were bought by a 'billionaire consortium' in 2017, we actually weren't at all? It was just a bunch of chancers?

    Individually some do have wealth.

    Parekh’s family do.
I still reckon Chien does, but it’s not for investment.
The rest I don’t think so.

The biggest gain here, is having Parekh more on board and involved. He could be a catalyst.

Parekh has always been involved though hasn't he? He's always sat on the board since his investment in 2017.

Does that Form value BFC Investments at £10 million or £30 million? Or are the figures at the top of the page not relevant?

Parekh was always a much more dapper chap than Conway.
