MT - er difficult to prove the above as no one can be sure what language was being spoken BEFORE you walk in to a pub.
That's right - the further away you get from Offa's Dyke the 'Welshier' it becomes although I think Pembrokeshire may be more anglicized than the more Easterly Carmarthenshire. (I'm from Merthyr - not many Welsh speaking families like mine there when I grew up.) Interesting how the old place names are now replacing the Anglicized ones - Wyddfa - Eryri etc COYR - .'Cym on Y Cochion' problem is BFC wont be in Red - WRECSAM will be. Hwyl!
