He scored two in the league that season.

One in the 2-1 home win v bolton, and he put us in the lead away at Wimbledon, we lost that game 4-1

Did Peter Markstedt not grab the winner at Anfield?

Peter Markstedt's debut, and a solid performance at that. Ward poked home from 7 yards for the winner, around 30 minutes in.

Pretty sure that Wimbledon game was a record low crowd for the premier league. Might still be.

I had to look that up!

It was the lowest crowd that season for Wimbledon and the league itself. 7668.

Nowhere near the record low though. That was also a Wimbledon home game, v Everton in 1993. Crowd of just over 3000 and about half of them were Everton fans. They had another two games that season that drew a crowd of under 4000. Many Wimbledon fans were still staying away at that point in protest of playing at Selhurst Park, even though they’d been there a couple of years by then.
