Don't see the problem myself. A nice gesture. Millwall have loads of normal fans a lot of the idiots only come out for the big games. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fans Forum
I was one of them. As was Redstar. Don't think BFC gave a chuff to be honest because it didn't affect them.
FA have made a statement today saying they will carry out a full investigation and take the appropriate action ( whatever that means). They had twelve "fans" arrested on charges of affray and entering the playing surface after the final whistle. I' ll pass when they visit Oakwell unless SYP can give assurances they can't get into Town. I remember seeing riot Police on Eldon Street one season they played us. Folks were really scared at seeing Police with shields and batons in the middle of town. McDonalds did a roaring trade as a lot of us dived in there for safety. The police managed to "control" some of my mates who were on picket lines at Hatfield Main and Orgreave in the 80's. Surely it's not beyond them to control a few hundred idiots intent on besmirching their Clubs name.?
As a club we should look after our fans. We should have helped you get an appology at the very least either from Millwall, Met, Wembley officials or all three. Just read this *****..... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3615822/millwall-aiden-obrien-fans-pitch-invasion-wembley/ Says a lot about them as a club.
I see Aiden O'Brien thinks they were within their rights to run on the pitch: "But Millwall forward Aiden O'Brien defended the club's fans. O'Brien, who progressed through the London club's academy, refused to join in the condemnation. "No, they have the right to do that you know," he said. "They've been supporting us all through the season. They should celebrate as much as we celebrate. "It's a team thing and they're part of the team. They can run on the pitch in my eyes for all they want, they deserve to."
