It contradicts most of what was said in the YouTube video regarding the 3 people who put money in, the majority one being this Kuqi character. Raises more questions than answers, deliberately imo.
It was always Brent, Kuqi and the kid who was actually live on the video. Or at least that's what we were led to believe at the time. They also said that they were really minor contributors in comparison to Brent who pulled it all together.
From what I can gather. The Hex leader scams people to make money and then donates it to causes he deems fit.
No, they're not a good sponsor. They're an appalling sponsor, that I'm personally ashamed to be associated with. Hope that clarifies.
Let's be right about this sponsorship, it's been done to achieve one thing and one thing only, to encourage more people into believing that what most right thinking people think is some sort of scam / ponzi scheme is a legitimate investment vehicle, The people behind it aren't doing it for altruistic reasons they are doing it because for them to make money they need to encourage more and more people the risk theirs. The people running Barnsley FC whether they be board members the CEO should have seen it for what it is and had nothing at all to do with it. All the other issues around the people involved with HEX is just making what was always a bad decisions a catastrophic one for Barnsley FC.
I av just read people's posts, i would'nt know one way or the other weather there gud or bad, and thats why i've asked the question, i asked cos ive bought mi shirts no logo and happy, and was gunner buy another 4 with logo on, but i'm not gunner put gud hard earnt money into a bad situation. Thats all
The ONLY good part of this is that they seem to have paid up front. However, I would hope every sponsor we've ever had actually paid up. The bad parts are:- They are a scam designed to separate the unwary from their money. Far, far wiser people than me have said this. They have followers who are stalking our social media platforms trying to get people to join a scam. They have influential members of their organisation, some who were pivotal in setting up the deal, who have some pretty vile opinions on various subjects. I don't think there's that much to weigh up to be honest.
Cheers mukka i'll leave mi money in the bank, and be happy wi the shirts i've got. Thankyou, for ya time an imput.
I can't ever remember the shirt sponsor being on a recap like that. Did the club use 'Investment Room' in a similar manner? Maybe my eyes have just failed to see it before, but it's a pretty blatant addition to Josh Benson's goal, as if to say 'we're here'.
That will just be the times moving to a bigger focus being put on digital. Every contract will include new/additional benefits vs. the previous one, and with more eyes on digital than ever before due to COVID I'm going to guess it wasn't in the Investment Room deal but was added to the package for this one. Which makes total sense with the way marketing and visibility is moving.
It feels more like a cash donation than a sponsorship deal. I feel the club is being used to market Hex. Is it a case of the club keeping schtum to keep these donations coming and making as much money as it can until the deal ends in 2023.
I'm beginning to get a bad feeling that the club are hoping this all dies down and they can can get away with doing nothing. I hope they're wrong.
Why the **** have we put the sponsor on like that? God, I hate this club at this second in time. Not just for sticking with them but for the message that sends to our fans who are being subjected to homophobic and anti semitic abuse by their followers. It’s one thing keeping the sponsorship, it’s entirely another to encourage them like that.
