Oi! nazi scumbag bullyboy Hehe, </p> I like the idea, when I was living in Amsterdam, I went to a couple of Ajax games (for free) and they had a gret shirt that they pulled out from a box along the wall bottom, massive , covered the end behind the goal. It was carried up to the back of the stand as the team came out of the tunnel, then back downand carefullyput back into the box till the next game, looked awesome..(Y) </p>
What happened to the giant flag that was in use at the likes of Oldham away ( lost 1-0 Andy Ritchie )
Big Flags are old hat. You want to arrange some of this! http://www.somethingreallyfunny.com/human-lcd.htm
I'd certainly contribute It could be pretty special. Although there's more than enough flags on display at away games.
What we want is to send a clear message to the players... ...just like Aberdeen fans do! http://www.redultras.net/videos/ <img src = "http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/747/celticaway020hz8.jpg">
Because the only place it would fit would be on the back wall and that's where the stand sponsor sign goes.
I dont mean to hng it i mean to pass it around before the game maybe half time etc then have it collected
I think its a good idea. The club is certainly looking for ideas improve the pre match build up in an attempt to whip the crowd up into a frenzy. It's got to be worth considering. Personally, I like RedFern''s suggestion of a large Barnsley shirt rather than a flag. (Who know's maybe Barnsley Building Society and Lotto may chip in with a few quid). I'll make sure it's suggested to the club. Any other ideas to improve the build up the club will certianly be interested. (Maybe worth starting another thread?/Forum?)
i doubt it happening, 1. we dont have enough fans for it to go over, so it wont hold up. 2. health and safety will probably have something to say about it 3. were not allowed a drum in the ground, so having a big flag/shirt i recon will be out the question
dont think its banned at all...second the flag dont have to be massive and lastly health and safety cant stop you taking flags into the crowd
as long as it has a fire certificate would be ok, seriously if a flaf is over a certain size, cant remember what size, it does need one, i can remember going to a play off final at old wembley with PNE in the old 4th div, some of their fans had an enormous flag and it had to have a fire certificate
at least we have an idnetifiable tune that everyone recognises, far better than the teams that pick a random song from the charts every year
