I agree, the mention of the Barnsley 'fan' feels a little disjointed with the rest of the article. A surprisingly well written piece for the Daily Mail. They've been through a lot, and all the best to them in the future.
Great article. Good to see Billy mention Martin House, and the 'little rooms' they have there (refridgerated bedrooms where the children can lay after they've died, and parents can decorate with toys and visit prior to the bodies being taken away for the funeral). It sounds a little odd but is a massive source of comfort for grieving parents. My wife is a children's nurse and works on the care team at Martin House, and I have immense respect for everyone who works there or helps to keep places like that running (she's also worked at Helen House in Oxford, which was the first hospice of it's kind). They're all run as charities and every little bit of publicity they get helps keep them running, so credit to Billy for speaking about them in the article.
