    No, no, no - last season not last year

    October/November of our promotion season, we lost to Donny badly at home (5-2) in the Worthington, Milk, CocaCola muppet cup. We were mid-table and looking good in patches but inispiring at times and didn't look like we were going anywhere fast.

    Lots of people were shouting about Ritchie being the cheap option, not a named manager, given the job from within, not up to much, not spending anything on players, pretty much everything they said about Wilson and now Davey.

    No I'm talking about the season before

    After Donny in the League Cup, there was a lot of unrest and people starting to moan about all the usual stuff - not a well known manager, not buying expensive players, ...

    Trouble was brewing for him and I don't think it was until well into the new year he was accepted ... even when we were approaching the end of the seaosn there were still a (small but) significant group not happy with him ... until he got us promoted.
