I think every club is open to offers for all their players. They might make noises to the contrary, but if another club offers enough they'll listen.

True, but aren't Birmingham openly advertising the fact?

£80k a week. He went up from £70k last season regardless of them going up or not.

Sounds like it, but I don't think that necessarily means good players will be available on the cheap. Unless they're on huge wages, which means the new club will have to offer something similar to tempt the players away, which seems unlikely.

I presume if they are really desperate to trim the wage bill they may be willing to enter into deals like Leeds supposedly did when they sold us McPhail, by continuing to pay a percentage of the player's wages after they have left.

Birmingham are fecked. The directors are leeching every last penny they can out of the club. For every Watford there are at least two Birminghams, Blackburn, Portsmouth, Plymouth not to mention Bolton, Bristol City and I dont think the Fowls are in too great a state.

So we could get Zigic, as long as they've got a percentage of about 95% in mind!
