Leeds have signed him, they are showing some courage, enthusiam etc to their fans that they want Championship status, but Barnsley go to the likes of Cheltenham, Swansea and Bury! :)S)

He was signed Watford, but he was only there about 6 weeks

after Cheltenham, but that's pretty close for someone as ill-informed as yourself.

Spot on. Which is why .....

Mr Shepherd should have had a replacement lined up BEFORE Ritchie was sacked. Having an experienced manager take over within days would have been far preferable to pi$$ing about for five weeks and then appointing an unproven one. As it is we're in a worse state than before because we won't attract anyone on the basis of our managers name - we just might have done with Andy Ritchie.

    Bad, bad decision.

I will back Simon Davey and the team week in week out til the end of the season but I fear we're going down and there'll be more chants of "There's only one Andy Ritchie" like at Wolves before the seasons out.

I'm pissed off, disullusioned and sad about my club. But most of all I'm angry at being taken for a fool by the false promises and communication from our chairman.

    :'(

I desperately hope we make some decent signings and that Simon Davey can keep us up. I'd be delighted to say I was wrong. If he is diplomatic and has self respect then he wouldn't berate his previous employers, would he? It certainly wouldn't help him get a position else where, would it?
