Sincerest condolences. As his spirit passes through the light he will Iive forever in your heart...and he will have been watching that performance today proud as punch.
I never got the chance to say goodbye to my dad either...I skipped snooker night as I had a 4 month old and he died that night, back in '97 we never got to see a premiership match together. Remember all the times you had..all the silly stupid things, that's what matters. Take it a day at a time

Really sorry to hear that Selby. Try not to dwell on not knowing they were your last beers with him and instead cherish the memory (easier said than done I know). He's probably up there having a good laugh at you for missing the game when he got to sit next to st peter and watch the lot in HD. If there's owt i, or anyone else on here, can do then don't hesitate to ask
Selby, mate, that is very sad to hear. Although, after a few minutes, it almost feels uplifting that you had such a beautiful relationship with yer dad. Take it steady, mate.
Thank you for the nice message I'm doing my best to read them through tear filled eyes. I've lost not only my dad but my best friend today and it hurts more than I can put into words so thank you all for your kind words......
Sincere condolences mate, hope you're ok. I know it's hard but try cherish the memories and good times, and try take comfort in the fact you had such a good relationship with your old man - many people don't! Sounds like a top bloke, and I'm sure he'll be smiling at the result tonight. This one's for you Selby Snr
Sincere condolences, fellow Red. His last happy moment was having a pint with his lad, take comfort from that if you can.
