Explaining how much money he is having to plough into the club. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66706455
Poor blackpool fans. Hope it's not too long before they're back in the Premier league where they belong.
The financial bubble will eventually pop. Clubs are spending money they don’t have or going to eventually run out.
What he needs to realise is fans suffer having to watch a weaker side, so are less likely to go watch. So it's up to the owner to use their business brain to think up revenue streams to avoid having to sell key players all the time.
Don’t know if they’ve got any attractive players but he could set up club organised Only Fans channels for them, £4.99 per player per month.
The last 88 or so houses of the 400 or so will be completed on the Foxhall Estate at Rigby Road in two years time. Literally thousands of new people getting to live two mins at most from the Football stadium. It's up to him to get them in the ground watching them. It looks a brilliant place to live. 2 mins from the prom in a brand new house, rather than the rundown backstreet ***** that was there before.
Yeah damn these owners like him ehh, who put a tonne of their own millions in. And are home grown and fans of the club, and who want the club to win promotion. Seriously, what are the Blacky Lashers fans complaining about ?.
One thing I never quite understand is that when a club sells a player and fans ask the club to reinvest the money in the squad they're told to remember that the incoming money from the transfers isn't all paid up front but is paid in installments. Why is it never mentioned that the outgoing money on new players is also in installments and isn't all up front? Personally I think that installments and add one need banning
It would be ever so nice if some fans would cotton on to the fact that there's more to running a football club than spending money on buying footballers and paying their wages.
Thousands of people? 400 houses? Let's say 4 people per house that's 1600 - half of which will be kids. But let's say he sells a thousand new season tickets at £400 a pop, that's 400k a year. Make a huge dent in the outgoings that will.
He might have been a little bit sarcy ? lol. They are a bit deluded are the Lashers, I think they are similar to us as a top end Lg One club, with hopes of competing in the Championship again soon.
Well, I'm not choosy. You could change the name blackpool for wigan, Sunderland, Wednesday, Reading, Leeds, Birmingham, etc If the clubs that thought they should be in the Premier league where they belong were actually in it, there'd be 47 teams in it.
Only going to get worse now with the Saudis throwing money about like they are doing. 210-215m for Salah, 170m upfront rest in add-ons. Will give Liverpool a massive headache but money to plough back in, which then will have a knock on affect with prices inflating here even more
