1) 2-0 to Blackpool 2) 17th 3) 5th 4) Davies/Melis 5) Tom Ince - probably best player in the league 6) could be Mido, could be Silva, could be anyone, too early to say 7) no idea 8) Tom Ince, as I said, best player in the league will be playing for England in 2 years tops.
Ince has got to be the big threat IMO. Looking forward to seeing him tbh. Potential to be a top player.
Barnsley 125 - 0 Blackpool We'll win the league, or finish 20th. Blackpool will finish 2nd. Our biggest threat - Chris Dagnall all day. Your biggest threat - the tower, or Tom Ince. Or best signing - Tomasz Cywka. Your best signing - Pass. And I'd buy Baptiste, the center half, or perhaps Stan Mortensen.
Hey welcome fella I have a lot of relatives on my Mothers side in Blackpool, their family name is Greenwood. Our Brian took me to Bloomfield Road many times when I used to go there to me Aunty Eva's as a kid in the summer hols. My UncleJack was a tram driver on the front and our Christine a clippy. To that end I have a place in my Heart for Blackpool. I am not gonna attempt to answer your questions, but just wish you a good day out in Barnsley. A draw would suit me but I suspect you will win. We have a series of very difficult games in the immediate few weeks, points are gonna be hard to get for us, especially with the amount of our better players out. I would be happy with a middle 8 finish for us, and due to my connections to Blackpool , I hope you go back up. Have a good day matey
Re: Hey welcome fella I dont know about the army,we have a Mott family originally from Barnsley who's son is a big Blackpool fan now Motty we call him,ask around Im sure someone will know him
just to make sure lol is she a .... Quite good looking blonde, nice shape, black barbour jacket, and a nice arse i tight jeans,
Im going to happily reply to your thread. 1. Can honestly see a Blackpool win. Despite our recent good home form, I can see a typical emphatic win for the away side. Going to go with a 4-0 win to Blackpool just due to our injuries. Our home form can't go on forever with the injuries we've got. Can see a West Ham or Reading performance at Oakwell from both the home side and the away side. Would be typical Barnsley for a 'family fun day'. 2. Barnsley will finish 18th. Better then last season but not good enough to get into that middle third. There will be definitely no relegation battle and will be happy with an huddersfield away day with no pressure in May. 3. Blackpool win finish 3rd. Too many goals in their side. A play off battle with some pretty decent sides. Wouldn't be surprised if they won promotion at Wembley after last year. Can see Ian Holloway grabbing a promotion so going to say them along with Blackburn and Wolves. 4. Our biggest threat is Tomasz Cywka. A very skillful midfielder and can cause problems. Very influencal and can also score the odd one. Would like to think he will stay with us until the summer, scoring goals as well as setting them up. 5. Blackpool have Gary Taylor Fletcher. One of the best attacking players in the division and can see him causing us problems if we don't have someone being rough in the back four. 6. Tomasz Cywka so far. Very skillful. 7. Isaiah Osbourne or Nouha Dicko. 8. Gary Taylor Fletcher. Always looks your best player and I feel he could get into the 20+ area if he gets the supply. Always does well against Barnsley and would love to see him up front with Craig Davies. Wouldn't mind seeing Barry Ferguson in our midfield too!!!
1. What do you think the score will be? I think we'll scrape a narrow win - we've looked comfortably at home this season and given the price we should have a lot of support. We haven't conceded at home yet although the squad is still ravaged with injuries and the current starting eleven is a little bit makeshift, particularly in defence. 2-1 2. Where do you think Barnsley will finish this season? A lazy outside would look at bookies predictions and say we will definitely be the in the bottom three. We've been the favourites for the drop for the last 6 years and haven't really been in any danger for the last two years, although our form at the end of last season was terrible. We'll finish anywhere between 8th and 20th. 3. Where do you think Blackpool will finish this season? Would like to see Blackpool get automatic as they seem to be building a team the right way, obviously benefiting from PL parachute payments but seem to be living within their means unlike many others who are racking up huge debts that they will then pay if they get promoted. 4. Who do you think Barnsleys biggest threat is? We don't have any real standout threats but Craig Davies has shown he can be anonymous in games and then suddenly pop up with a goal. 5. Who do you think Blackpools biggest threat is? Sorry I don't really know much about Blackpool 6. Best signing for Barnsley this year? Tomas Cywka - looking like a real find for us, could be as influential as Vaz Te was last season 7. Best signing for Blackpool this year? Sorry, not sure who is new and who isn't 8. If you could buy one Blackpool player who would it be and why? Any centre-half near the first team as Keith Hill would rather play the tea-lady than actually play one of our back up central defenders in their natural position!
1. 1-0 (Hopefully) 2. 23rd 3. 3rd 4. Tomasz Cywka 5. Ince/Phillips 6. Cywka 7. Not sure 8. Ince or Phillips. Bit of a pattern with some of my answers.
Can you remember the Huddersfield play-off game in 2006? Gary Taylor Fletcher looked like a right waste of snap (of which he looked to have eaten far too much of), how things change.
there was a lot Of Motts in Hoyland when I was a kid could be related I guess. Barry Mott and Linda Mott and I think Anita Mott..not sure on that one.I think Linda Married a bloke called Dennis Brennan.
Re: Mr-DD makes Mr C feel inadequate The Motts are a very well know Barnsley family in Blackpool Cheers for all the replies
