i think its a 3-0 win for huddersfield because its something that could have been controlled (sort of)

if its abandoned because of weather then it has to go to a replay

Agree with you but it is refreshing seeing fans have power because they never do. Football doesn't give back what the fans put in most times and it's nice to see some fans sticking up for themselves

Every other club that's come down from the Premiership as invested at least some of the obscene amounts of parachute money back into the club/team, ALL of the money Blackpool gained has (allegedly) gone into the Oyston's back pockets or other companies. They've won 4 games this season and were close to starting the season with 8 players. He is running them into the ground whichever way you look at it, and I fully support the fans actions today. If peaceful protests do nothing then what else are they supposed to do? It's a shame one or two of them didn't get to the director's box.

You don't think he's running it into the ground? He's openly said it to fans.

Got to be some significant punishment otherwise its the green light for anarchy in other games, and what about the Huddersfield fans who travelled?

If what was happening at Blackpool was happening at oakwell I hope we would stand up for our club in a similar way. Thank the Lord for Patrick.

Dreamboy and anyone else sympathising or slating the Blackpool fans re their actions, please read some of their bulletin boards, you will see just why the Pool fans are acting the way they have, they have my 100% support, I really would have loved to have gone there today to support them..it was a peaceful protest...I would sincerely hope that if we had been tret the way they have then we, as fans of BFC would have the balls to stand up and be counted in the way they have, they have acted with the upmost dignity....no arrests were made today, the police let them get on with it......this is one odious family and it is time football fans stood up against such individuals....don't forget Oyston jnr is still up on an FA charge as well........and finally to call Blackpool a **** hole etc...take a look at Barnsley...its no worse or better is it...to level that against them as a reason for not caring re their plight is just.......well...words fail me...

    Peaceful? Not really.

Police let them.get on with it? If so should they foot the bill for failing their responsibilities.

I wonder if anybody will reimburse the Huddersfield Fans who came to watch their team the gate money and travel expenses.

I applaud the Blackpool fans' protest. However, they should have left the pitch after a while and allowed the game to restart. By not doing so, they've spoiled it for the thousands of Town fans who paid to see a 90 minute game. Also, plenty of Town fans were part of the Pedal for Pounds charity cycle. And whether the game and three points is awarded to Town or not, Blackpool will surely now start the new season with a points deduction. Their fans, by staying on the pitch and only leaving after the match was abandoned have set a dangerous precedent. The FA will have to come down hard on them. The police were also filming the event and I expect a lot of the 300 or so protestors to be getting a knock on the door shortly.

But the main issue - by paying £30 to get in, you've already paid Oyston. He was sat in the directors box with a **** eating grin on his face. What exactly have they done (the fans) that is going to make any positive difference today?

If you want him out, stop attending would be my suggestion.

They'd be better off protesting outside the other oyton family businesses like the estate agents. If they realise that their entire family revenue streams are cut off they'll quickly change their ways

Edit: just checked his companies. How the hell is he a director of the football league?
